Ducharme Services began in 2010 within the non-profit, philanthropic, and political sectors in Vancouver, British Columbia. Spearheading the introduction of a provincial and national movement during the Steven Harper Government had set the path for a series of provincial and national leadership milestones. This established a high-profile, international, networking platform that utilized a public speaking personality and a series of online and offline events to create education, advocacy, and awareness programs to address public safety and justice issues.
In 2016, our business shifted focus to the slow-paced setting of Cowichan Bay, on Vancouver Island. Innovation and a clear vision introduced unprecedented guest services and client care standards to transportation, tourism, and hospitality industries in local, Cowichan Valley communities. 2025 marks a year of transformation and revitalization. As the world faces unprecedented challenges, we are committed to overcoming barriers of doubt and uncertainty. While launching Ducharme Limousine & Tours, in 2025, as a new business on Vancouver Island, our Public Relations & Consultancy division is simultaneously re-focusing on its core mission and building on a longstanding, and lifelong, commitment. With this renewed purpose, we are strategizing and collaborating with the United Nations to advance a global homicide project aimed at strengthening global peace and human security.
Who is Ducharme?
A Dreamer, Visionary, and Compassionate Leader: Ducharme means “Giver of Happiness,” derived from the literal French translation: “of charm.”
A warm welcome! I am Ducharme — a dreamer, a storyteller, and an advocate for public safety and justice.
My purpose and journey began with a life-altering moment at the age of 14; one that profoundly shaped how I see the world. I’ve learned vulnerability is necessary for healing and when embraced with awareness and discernment can be a powerful tool for positive change. This continues to inspire me and has been the foundation of my work ever since.
With a diverse and multifaceted career, I have expertise in sales & marketing, PR & communications, project management, banking, and event planning. My professional journey also includes nonprofit leadership, policy reform, victim advocacy, philanthropy, and public speaking. I combine creativity with strategic insight through storytelling, art, published author, and digital content creation, alongside being a solopreneur, and a professional driver in the tourism & hospitality industry.
I believe heartfelt storytelling and aligned visions are the impetus for innovative, lasting change. I am dedicated to fostering global solutions for security and peace that may have been unimaginable. I offer both academia and lived experiences to address some of the world’s most pressing challenges. I am excited to expand on my Sociology Bachelors Degree with a Master’s in Global Conflict and Human Security.
I am passionate about recognizing gaps and forming strategic alliances and partnerships that spearhead new initiatives to improve communities, our world, and our way of thinking. Authenticity and resiliency are among the greatest gifts to inspire action, foster connection, and ignite change.
